Lagniappe Academies Temporary School Site

Phase I of the Lagniappe Academies Modular Campus, completed in January 2011, is comprised of five, vibrant modular buildings—Administration, Cafeteria, Science Lab, Kindergarten, and Fifth Grade—connected by elevated walkways and arranged to create a number of outdoor learning forums. The orientation of the Kindergarten and Fifth Grade buildings formulate the central forum of the campus while a secondary forum is located among the Kindergarten, Science Lab, and Administration buildings. The Kindergarten classroom also has a private outdoor classroom extension. The symbiosis between indoor and outdoor learning along with the identity provided by the colorful campus creates a sense of community and pride among students.
Phase II of the campus, which consists of a sixth classroom building for first and sixth grade students and covered walkway, is currently under construction.
