Erin brings resilience policy and program expertise to her position as Concordia’s Special Projects Coordinator.  Prior to her work at Concordia, Erin served as the Deputy Associate Director for Climate Equity at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, where her portfolio included operationalizing climate equity considerations in Federal programs and coordinating Federal policy to assist communities considering relocation as an adaptation response to the impacts of climate change.  She is originally from Alaska, and spent three years working for the State of Alaska Department of Fish and Game as an anthropologist with the Subsistence Division, conducting research on customary and traditional uses of wild foods and the impacts of development and climate change on food security in rural Alaska.  Erin is completing an MA in Arctic and Northern Studies, focusing in Environmental Policy, from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
