Jackie Newman has been working with Concordia for over fifteen years. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education from Southern University in Baton Rouge, and worked for Carrier Corporation in Syracuse, New York. She then worked with the Entergy Corporation for 19 years where she was the Supervisor of Administrative Staff, Records Management, Switchboard Operations, and the Print Shop.
At Concordia, Jackie is the company’s Business and Administrative Manager who provides services that are crucial to keeping the firm and employees in compliance with City, State and Federal regulations. She also manages finances, accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, human resources, and provides administrative support to staff. Jackie is an expert at handling multiple tasks and managing a variety of company functions.
Outside of the office, Jackie enjoys spending time and planning activities with her husband, children and grandchildren.
