What is the nexus?

Our nexus framework supports the harmonious alignment of many component parts.  For example, just as our own living body has a network of veins and arteries to distribute cells and nutrients, cities have highways and roads that serve a parallel function at a different scale.  Like the neurological pathways that carry electrical impulses throughout our bodies, cities use telecommunications infrastructure to address similar needs. And where each of our body’s organs deliver a different function, we have developed a formula for envisioning the organs of the city through a system of six physical, cultural, social, economic, organizational and educational domains of planning and design.
