Concordia has assisted Ashé Cultural Arts Center in planning, designing, and implementing a multi-stage renovation process, that included an exterior facade renewal and new lobby space. Future phases include an update theater and office space for the Ashé team.
We worked closely with Ashe leadership to develop the design direction, based on African pottery, textiles, and music. The Bamboula wall in the lobby is comprised of an undulating wood screen, inspired by the bamboula rhythm.
