Alex Sorapuru has come full circle with Concordia; as he rejoins the firm after 6 years split between Colorado and Virginia, where he spent time focusing on new construction and historical residential homes. The collaborative spirit between client and architecture drives Alex to push for inclusive and responsive solutions in each project. He excited to be able to bring some of the detailing experience he has gained over the years into his new role at Concordia.

As a New Orleans native, Alex is excited to be working on projects in his community again. He received his Bachelor’s of Architecture degree from Louisiana State University where he focused researching the transition of public housing in America and helped to manage to campus woodshop. Alex’s practice as an artist inspires his point of view as an architectural designer and vice versa.
