Jason Weyland is the Director of Practice Management and a licensed architect at Concordia with over 16 years of experience in commercial and residential projects in a wide range of scale and complexity. Upon relocating to New Orleans from Chicago in 2009 Jason began working on the renovation of the City’s pumping stations and from there moved on to projects for the World War II Museum, Loyola University, Jesuit High School, and the Archdiocese of New Orleans. His range of experiences has allowed him to work on $240 million condominium projects on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, manage senior living and multi-family developments ranging from 50 to 250+ units and to design single family renovations and camelback additions for his own design firm with many project types and scales in between.

Jason is a native of Dothan, Alabama and spent time at Auburn University, including a semester at the Rural Studio, before attended Mississippi State University where he graduated with his BArch in 2005. Proficient in technical detailing, Jason enjoys the process of design from project inception through the Construction Document phase. When not working at Concordia Jason can be found busy with his wife and three kids, developing his skills as a shadetree mechanic, and dreaming of the next road trip.
